Call for Applications: Tenure-track Appointment in The School of Political Science, Government and International Affairs, Tel Aviv University
The School of Political Science, Government, and International Affairs at Tel Aviv University invites applications for two open rank tenure-track positions. We welcome applications from all subfields in political science. Preference will be given to researchers specializing in comparative politics or international relations, as well as scholars studying the interaction between politics and technology. The term of appointment will begin on October 1, 2023.
Successful candidates must have a PhD in Political Science or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment. Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence and endorsements from referees of high standing. The successful candidate is expected to pursue an innovative research program. Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Hebrew is the primary language of instruction at Tel Aviv University, and candidates must be able to teach courses in Hebrew within three years of their appointment.

PhD position Comparative Politics
There is a vacancy for a PhD position at the Department of Comparative Politics, Faculty of Social Sciences. The position is for a fixed-term period of 4 years, of which 25% will be dedicated to teaching, supervision and administrative tasks at the Department.
The Department of Comparative Politics is a research-intensive department offering an exciting place for research and education on political institutions, organizations, processes, and behaviour at local, national, and international levels. The Department offers bachelor's and master’s programmes in comparative politics, as well as a bachelor's programme in European studies. Research at the department is organized in research groups, and around research projects.
